The Swedish Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre (SESBC) is arranging the third Centre Summer School, which will be held at Chalmers University of Technology on 19–21 August 2026.

The focus of the Summer School will be on AI, machine learning, modelling and security related issues.

19 Aug, 12:00–17:30 – Broad, basic concepts
20 Aug, 09:30–17:00 – Parallel, in-depth sessions
21 Aug, 08:30–13:30 – Industrial perspectives
21 Aug, 13:45–16:00 – Study visit

On 21 August we will offer a study visit at Digital Twin Cities Centre (www.dtcc.chalmers.se), hosted by the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Registration form

The Summer School is open to PhD students, postdocs, early career, and senior researchers.

Last day for registration is 15 June at 23:59.

Being a very important part of the activities within the Centre, all PhD students are expected to attend the Summer School. Proposed credits are 3 HP for attendance and active participation.
