Second SESBC Summer School

Dear partners,

The Swedish Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre (SESBC) is pleased to invite you to the second centre Summer School, which will be held at Chalmers University of Technology on 19-21 August 2025. The focus of this year’s Summer School is “Long term energy storage”, with some emphasis on PEM fuel cells and electrolysers. Excersises and workshop activities will be integrated parts of the lectures.

• Day 1: Hydrogene as an energy carrier
  
  
• Day 2: Two parallel sessions on PEM devices:
  • Track 1 – Single cells and stacks
  • Track 2 – Systems and applications
• Day 3: Broader and international perspective

Being a very important part of the activities within the centre, all PhD students of SESBC are expected to attend the Summer School. Proposed credits are 2 HP credits for attendance and active participation all three days. Postdocs are also recommended to attend.

We encourage participants to attend the joint dinners on 19 and 20 August, and other social activities according to program.

Cost

The Summer School is open and free of charge for all researchers and non-academic partners active in SESBC.

For non SESBC partners the cost is SEK 10.000. Please, have all your billing information and purchase order number (if needed) ready upon registration.

The course will be held in English.
