Renewed funding for SEBSC
We are happy to announce that the Swedish Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre will continue as a competence research centre. The Swedish Energy Agency has decided to prolong the funding for five more years.
“It is very encouraging to see continued investment from the Swedish Energy Agency, and we will continue to build on the strong work done the first five years. I’m very happy to see the large interest for storage and balancing research, and that we have many new potential partners for the next period. This close collaboration between academia and industry is very important for the development of the Swedish power grid”, says Massimo Bongiorno, Director of SESBC
The first five years will end in Dec 2026 and the next period will start Jan 2027, with some overlapping projects.
